Phillip spent seven years working in finance for UBS Wealth Management where he helped generated bespoke investment strategies for Ultra-High-Net-Worth African based Clients. This experience helped him develop an extensive business network across the African continent.
After he gained his MBA from Imperial College Business School he was appointed as General Manager at Anglo African Enterprises, an IT Consultancy based in Mauritius, where he was General Manager of Anglo African Ventures, their Corporate Ventures division (2016). His mandate was to invest in UK based fintech start-ups and sell the technologies into African based financial institutions.
He co-founded Seso Global in August 2017 with his business partner Daniel Bloch. Seso Global is a Proptech start-up that is registered in the UK with subsidiary legal entities in Ghana and Nigeria. The company is solving the issue of trust within the property purchasing process in Africa and emerging economies. As a real estate platform Seso sells properties and property relates services to prospective buyers. As a SaaS business it builds out CRM platforms for the stakeholders within the Seso ecosystem such as property developers, land service providers and banks. Seso has identified value in managing the entire property transaction value chain.
Phillip holds an MBA from Imperial College Business School (2014 – 15) where he specialized in Corporate Finance and Venture Capital. He holds the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) from the University of Law and is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (Level 4). He holds a Double Honours Degree in History and Law from Leicester University and Anglia Ruskin University (Cambridge).
